MPs Mzomera, Gaffar formally joins DPP, relocate to govt benches in Parliament

Member of Parliament for Mzimba Hora, Reverend Christopher Mzomera Ngwira who rejoined Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) the party    he dumped and joined People’s Party when it was in power  has been given the go-ahead to relocate to the government benches in the National Assembly.

Mzomera Ngwira: Back on government benches

Speaker of Parliament Richard Msowoya announced  the new arrangement in the House.

He also informed Parliament that Zaheer Gaffar Issa, Member for Chikwawa Central who joined DPP has also moved to government benches.

“The Members have, therefore, requested my office to allocate them seats on the Government Benches.  In this regard, the Members will be accordingly allocated the seats as requested,” the Speaker announced.

Ngwira was formerly People’s Party Northern Region Provincial Chair but he was fired for insurbodination.

Politicians of Malawi they like are also known as NOMADIC POLITICIANS – they will never have a PERMANENT HOME, anyway that’s their choice – we shouldn’t blame them they have the right.

Speaker of the National Assembly, Msowoya is a disgrace. I don’t know why he cannot apply section 65 of the Constitution. Sometimes, I feel like he too will one day cross the floor because he is letting this to happen so that he can befit from it as well.
