Mr Ibu thrills at Prophet Bushiri’s birthday celebration with anointing of laughter

Nigerian popolar comic actor John Okafor aka “Mr Ibu” on Monday thrilled thousands of worshippers at a Diplomatic Service which was special for the celebration of a birthday of Prophet Shephered Bushiri,  a South African based Malawian leader of Enlightemen Christian Gathering (ECG) church in Pretoria.

Mr Ibu, was among a number of well known personalities and diginatiries who came to celebrate Bushiri’s birthday.

He thrilled the worshipers as he brought in his own anointing of laughter and followed by a dance as he praised the Man of God.

Okafor is considered to be one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters. His humorous acting is often characterized by stupidity, hilarious imbecility and a sharp disconnection from reality.

The 55 year-old Nollywood actor said as a matter of fact and not a joking matter, Prophet Bushiri was a “great spiritual leader” and that it was great to dance in the presence of God at ECG.

Bushiri, also known as Major 1, also took to the dance  floor with a signature moves christened as ‘prophetic dance’.

In his message Prophet Bushiri said he did not the presence of thousands at ECG to celebrate his birthday for granted.

“May God bless you for loving a prophet. I love you. Shalom,” said Major 1.

He noted that well wishes poured from all over for his birthday.

“A special mention must go to my parent, both spiritual and biological who came and celebrated with me. As well as  my wife, Prophetess Mary Bushiri, who seasoned my day with amazing gifts and surprises. I could not have asked for more,” he said.

Bushiri said as he embarks on another journey through another year “ I believe that we will move together in one faithand one voice worshipping the true living God.”
