Koma ka mphekesera ka coup anakonza!
THE WAY ICAN SEE IT LOOKS LIKE PITALA HAS LOST DIRECTION, HE IS TRYING ANY MEANS TO PROTECT HIS TIPEX PRESIDENCY BUT IT WONT WORK THING GONNA TURN BAD TO WORSE AND ANOTHER THIS HE WANTS TO USE DIVIDE AND RULE AT MDF WHICH IS IMPOSSIBLE
DPP ndi zolowere nkudyere mwana. Now that they have killed General Nundwe’s son, they feel that they are not protected. If you think he has appointed in good faith, forget about it. You are next to be killed, frustrated and disappointed. Believe you me. Count how many people have died after helping DPP to win or steal? You, the newly appointed Chiefs, doesn’t it concern you to see how our Tax Payers money is being embezzled? True picture of the rigged elections? Remember that you have your sons and daughters who have more years to live. Partnering with DPP is dancing with the sharks, they will in the end eat you. I am not a politician, I even don’t desire to be one, but I am just a concerned Citizen.
@ Garanta Girl
You have said it all………………. God bless you!
Scare tactics as they have killed the son of general Nundwe.
Now they want to sprint powers of General Nundwe after realising that they made a big mistake by killing his Son. They come to realise that revenge is fast approaching by Nundwe.
Am sure General Nundwe as Army himself knows important of protecting his people thus Malawi as a whole including his inner family . During training to become a Soldier he signed to die for his people , so the battle is on now?
I can see Nundwe taking up the mantle as a leader of this Country before 29th July, mark my words .
General Nundwe is just preparing for that day now with his overwhelming support from his Juniors . History is about to be made before 29th July and chances are very high.
So you have Dausi & Supuni killing Nundwe’s son. When Americans went to kill two sons of Sadam Husein in Iraq..they thought that was the end of Sadam Husein. Those who follow History well , will remind you that ISIS was born immediately. Mutharika you dont shed innocent blood and expect no consequences. Ask king David of old…four of his sons died in sequence . why??? he killed Uriah the Hitite
Good
Great !
Well,all the best.
Gen Supuni, the national security adviser’s hands are all over this progressive “restructuring” – good strategic move Supuni: Show you learned za strategic military organisations at the US Military Colleges.
And, to be sure, this actually brings more stability to our security; collective decisions, by the Land, Sea and Air commanders will now be the rule.
You don’t have to dare appointing anyone for you have just a month left to leave that presidency, shame on you!.
MALAWIAN PROBLEMS IS NOT IN ELEVATION OF ARMY / POLICE OFFICERS —-WHO CAME UP WITH THESE CALCULATIONS ??WE HAVE SUFFERED TOGETHER WITH THESE OFFICERS FOR OVER 54 YEARS —WHAT MALAWIANS ARE EXPECTING IS MORE THAN WHAT WE ARE SEEING OR HEARING HERE NOW -(–WEIGHED AND FOUND WANTING !!!)
Airforce commander without fighter planes, is this not a joke?
Royal Brunei does not have fighter planes or bombers. Royal New Zealand Air Force is even depleted. But still they have air force commanders for good reasons – they have transport planes and helicopters.
However, some air force fleet are useless. Have a look at Syria. In the 1967 conflict with Israel, it lost two thirds of its fleet on the ground on first day of the war. The rest sat out during the conflict. In 1982 conflict in Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, Israel shoot down 24 Syrian warplanes that were helping Hezbollah guys who up to now are firing frequently at Israel. During the conflict Israel did not lose a single aircraft. So what is it that is a joke with ours? Remember our economy was destroyed by Bakili at a time the resources Kamuzu’s regime left could carter for that.
A country needs huge sums of money to operate and sustain a fleet of fighter planes/bombers. In Africa, some countries are struggling to maintain an air force. They go to rogue states to provide them with spare parts or for the sale of cheap warplanes.
But speaking for myself, it is much better to arm and train ground troops so that they are able to shoot down planes using any type of projectile whether mounted on the shoulder or track or helicopter or on the ground. That is the reason North Korea is investing so much in ballistic missiles!
CONGRATULATIONS MA GUY – MUKAYETSE DZIDA MAWA KU MADEMO – be reminded not to bite the hand witch is feeding you mwanva? otherwise mundikwiyitsa kwabasi if I see you guys mistreating your fell police members

Do we have enough resources to fund all those posts?
The posts were already there as commanding officers of those units. However what has changed is that the Act (of Parliament) of 2018 as amended has made these institutions semi autonomous. This is not a Mutharika issue!
Why now? Kuwopa kuti Nundwe angalande boma kumeneko!
weldone adadi enawo madando basi
kkkkk kuyesetsabe kuti mwina kachitetezo
Invigorating the territory nothing much…. coup ikuopsya iyi! kkkkkkk
This is what we have been complaininging all along, we continue to give the presidency too much appointing powers. Why not leave that in the hands of Defence Force to decide who heads the Airforce, but no, it has to be the prerogative of the president, created recently in the Defence Forces Act 2018. Blame it on MPs because they are the ones who pass these stupid laws, next time when you vote for a member of Parliament think about whether that person has the technical capacity and ability to scrutinize bills for the betterment of our being. For me, it is enough for the president to appoint the head of the army. It should stop there.
When peace like a river attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot thou hast taught me to say, it is well, with my soul.
What does this mean?
No Comment here we’re lay people on military issues. But politics eya, Nyooo!! mwana nyooo!!
Each economy comprises three key sector for growth and three sectors that has no direct correlation with it(economy). The former is agriculture, transport and trade and the latter education, millitary and health sector. The president interest in the army is to grip on to power not to revitalize growth. Politics and economy are inseparable and these army generals must look at the big picture not only to feather their nest. This is untimely move as we all know what is at stake in the millitary.
That is good, we need strong ground forces, air forces and maritime forces
