Mwanache denigrates Tay Grin over Malawi Music Awards
Hip-Hop is competitive art form; emcees going back and forth on a beat and not on social media.
All that work is shown through accolades but last year’s Music Malawi (MUMA) awards left a lot to be desired, according to some fans and artists.
Well, Prime Time Media artist Mwanache hasn’t let go yet and had some words directed towards Best Hip-Hop/Rap award recipient Tay Grin this week.
Looks like Mwanache, whose hit song “Zimandukhudza” with legendary Lulu has been dominating charts and airplay, is feeling he’s going to get robbed at the next MUMAs or he’s just threatened with competition? You decide.
Tay Grin has not put out any new music lately after the award-winning “The Beach” feat. The Very Best and Seye as well as “Beautiful Girl” with Afro RnB maestro Maskal.

Tay Grin may not be the most gifted rapper in the land, but he knows his game. And for all he does, he deserves the bling, coz he the best. Some of you just need to grow up, and learn that its about volumes but quality. #luzers

you should also understand that in marketing, you have to strategise your album release dates so that the public doesn’t get tired of your music quickly.

It depends.Mwina mzanu is heavily competitive pamene inu mukutulutsa trash.We r living in a competitive world and people are looking for quality not quantity.There is no creativity among many Malawian musicians and their videos are of very low quality.Pull up your socks and stop moaning like a baby ndi zichewa zako uyooozo even though im not a fan of Tay Grin.
