Ndefeyo’s Nthumwi Pixy, Armstrong rising high

Take two young men both vocally and lyrically talented beyond their age and you will have Armstrong and Nthumwi Pixy.

The two have quickly risen to complete a Ndefeyo’s constant three-with singing sensational Maskal-and with proudly African urban touches, they are set to make indelible mark in the music circles.

Signed to Ndefeyo Entertainment company last year, Armstrong and Pixy have since become a natural phenomenon, with Pixy’s already made name under Atumwi brand, all was easily to scale-up his strides.

Nthumwi Piksy’s ‘Unamata’

On the other hand, Armstrong’s aesthetic voices and ability to wrap himself around a song that is sensuous evocative and simply irresistible has raised his numbers as well.

With their songs, Armstrong’s Sinditha Kumvetsa and Nthumwi Pixy’s Unamata enjoying much radio airplay on local stations, the two have bounced with music videos of the songs to complement the image-build up efforts, which is seemingly to be paying off.

Released last week, Unamata and Sinditha Kumvetsa’s videos are already making it big on internet precisely YouTube, and if comment are anything to account on, Pixy and Armstrong are another quaint package to watch from Ndefeyo this year.

Unamata and Sinditha Kumvetsa have been produced and directed by the video genius Chipie Khonje and are now shown on MBC and AFJ televisions.

The two videos are part of the projects the two artists Armstrong and Nthumwi Pixy are working on under Ndefeyo Entertainment.

“The two are working on their respective not-yet-titled albums to be released by June this year. Based on response on YouTube, we are hoping the videos will make it big as far as the careers for these artists are concerned,” reads in part a statement from Ndefeyo Entertainment.

According to Ndefeyo, the two videos will be part of the music video compilation the record label is planning to release later this, comprising other Ndefeyo’s artists, which include Maskal and the Afro Hip-Hop duo Biriwiri of Zizwa and Khumbo.

“It has been our goal to ensure that our artists give their best in any production released, and with the efforts by Chipie Khonje on the Unamata and Sinditha Kumvetsa videos, we can assure the nation of nothing but the best,” added the statement.

With the music market saturated or just watered down by unprofessional music videos, Unamata and Sinditha Kumvetsa are set to reshape the industry.
