“Am so happy. The money has just come at a right time as I have several issues needing financial attention,” said Lifa, without divulging how the money would be used.

Other participants won Y221 handsets, Flames replica jerseys and TNM K5000 and K2500 recharge vouchers.

Going by the hits, Bullets are on course to become first team to hit 300,000 mark whose reward is once-off K1.5 million.

“No team has hit 300,000 mark, meaning the once-off K1.5 million still there. Likewise, two fans who will register the highest SMS entries shall be rewarded with Samsung 40 Inch TVs,” said TNM Public Relations and Sponsorship Manager Limbani Nsapato.

TNM, sponsors of the Super League, rolled out the promotion to give football fans opportunity to generate revenue for their teams.

To register and start playing the trivia, football followers are supposed to SMS a unique of code of their teams to 1515 using TNM network.  Each SMS costs K50
