Not luewarm child of God

Many people have been called by God to fulfill specific tasks in the Kingdom but very few are walking in this. We see how people are being destroyed by messages not from God because the devil knows and targets on attacking the church. If only preachers were on fire for God, the enemy would not be able to find any door ways to attack churches.

“Because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16). Lukewarm does not mean complete rejection, but lack of acceptance. This is actually a confirmation that these are people in churches that are being referred to here.

It is the greatest thing to know that there is no salvation by association. You may belong to a specific church, or be close to certain preachers but that does not guarantee your name is written in the book of life. Few are preachers that are doing the work of God without diluting to make people happy, and great will be their reward on that great Day of Judgment.

In most cases, these true preachers are not crowd pullers because their message is not what people want to hear. People want to be told they are going to be rich, or be taught seven steps to be a champion. What will these things benefit you without Christ in you? Paul said; “I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things; I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:7-8). You can have all things in this world but if you don’t have Christ in you, there is no peace.

“The blessing of the Lord, it makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it” (Proverbs 10:22). I challenge you to look around you at those you know for sure they are saving God with all they have and see the joy, peace, love, and the list can go on and on.

To chose doing things their own way is considered blasphemy against God and in most cases there is always a price to it though because of the spiritual blindness, they may not see how much the devil is busy stealing from them. I like the story of Jonah who thought would be able to run away from the presence of God.

The book of Jonah tells us in chapter 1 that Jonah paid money to get into the ship while running away from the presence of God. All the devil will do is make you pay yet he is stealing from you many things. Many were sent in the bible for God’s work that never paid anything because there was God’s provision and blessings. It is choosing to walk without God with you that makes you live outside of God’s provision.

Many at this time are running away from the presence of God some knowingly while others it is unknowingly because they have believed in wrong things. It is my prayer today that this message should make you come out of your comfort zone and be on fire for God.
