Conducting the draw on Monday, Airtel splashed another one  million kwacha to Mwanza based Monila Osman while 70 people won K10 000 each and 70 others won 4G MIFI routers.

Receiving the cheque on Wednesday Chimwemwe Dyson expressed gratitude and thanked Airtel for introducing the promotion saying it will change many lives.

Dyson said she least expected to win in the competition as she was not aware about anything concerning the competition saying buying SMS bundles was her usual business.

“I am very happy that I have won in this competition, honestly speaking I knew nothing about this competition, as per tradition I always buy SMS  bundles just to communicate with friends until on Monday when I got a good news from Airtel”, she said

As a form 3 student Dyson said the money is enough paying school fees and buying other necessities and that she will continue buying bundles to maximize chances of winning again.

Airtel Malawi zone business Manager Nickson Makawa said he is happy that people from remote areas are participating in the promotion citing Chimwemwe Dyson as a practical example.

“As Airtel Malawi we are very excited that the competition is going on well and that ordinary people are the ones winning. What is interesting is that the bundles that these customers bought for them to qualify and win in this competition.

Airtel Malawi Marketing Manager Frank Magombo said the competition is aimed at rewarding royal customers and has encouraged all the customers to continue buying various bundles by dialing *301# for them to win different prizes.

Magombo further re-assured customers of fairness and transpancy in the competition saying winners will come from all the Districts in the country.

Expected to end in December, the competition will see one lucky winner walking away with K10 Million as a grand prize.
