Peoples Party riles Uladi over party regalia
Peoples Party (PP) says it is deeply angered with its former acting president Uladi Mussa whom it accuses of ferrying people in PP regalia to Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) functions, saying Mussa should stop this practice forthwith.
PP spokesperson Noah Chipeni said this in reaction to a group of women and youths who were clad in PP regalia and attended the ground breaking ceremony for a cotton factory on Monday in Salima.
“Uladi Mussa should stop this. He is no longer a member of the PP. He should not bring confusion in our party. Those who were clad in the PP regalia were not PP members after all,” said Chipeni.
Mussa was seen clad in blue shirt, sitting next to Chatinkha Chidzanja Nkhoma at the highly politicized function presided over by President Peter Mutharika.
Chidzanja Nkhoma later said she was invited to the function as a cotton farmer and said she was not defecting to the ruling party.
Mussa was the head of Joyce Banda’s presidential campaign team in the run up to the 2014 general election but fell out with Banda last year after he allegedly maneuvered to oust the party founding president as the party leader.

If there is an MP who has maintained his seat since multiparty began it is Change golo. He wins despite standing for different parties since multiparty. Meaning people of his area follow him wherever he goes because they trust him. So it is just nonsense to say Mussa is useless. It is you who are useless and nonsense because you hate a person who has been loved in his area for many years.
koma iwe ndiye kayatu
The people who allowed to be in PP party colours when Change golo was in Blue are idiots. This is how poor Malawians are used
kkkkkkkk. Koma Change Goloso zopanga zake. Osangopuma ndale bwanji? Kuthatu uku Change Golo. I dont think there is anything you gonna contribute to DPP and the country as a whole. Munthu wadyela ngati uyu sindawone.
How could PP entrust Chenji Golo with a party presidential position in the first place? He is a man without principles. These are opportunists seeking favours and authority to deep in public resources.
