Prophet Bushiri takes South Africa by storm, church growing alarmingly
Truly, a prophet is of no honour in his country of origin, but wherever the wind takes them to, they get established and attract gatherings that speak thousand words of victory in their quests as servants of God.
This is the case of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri who is emerging as a name of hope in South Africa and other African countries.
His church in Pretoria West, South Africa now attracts thousands of followers, and according to information made available to Nyasa Times, the church has registered over ten thousand members who step their feet on the holy place each Sunday for services that are also broadcasted live on his television Prophetic Channel, accessed via satellite on DSTV and Free to air decoders.
Bushiri told Nyasa Times that it’s all God’s time for his rising and that he will help those who seek divine intervention in their lives.
“God gave me the mandate and that’s to preach, prophecy and save souls throughout the world. Just few years ago, I shared my vision in Mzuzu, Malawi but unfortunately, I was in my place of birth and no one took me seriously. I was attacked and mocked as being just a mare dream,” he told Nyasa Times.
“Now I am in South Africa and I can witness the hand of God at work. Each week am getting thousands of people and it has been work throughout preaching to them and getting them established in spiritual being,” explained Bushiri.
On why he left Malawi, Bushiri clarified that he never left Malawi for good , saying he will continue being a Malawian.
“Be assured, am born Malawian and I will die a Malawian. I haven’t left my country, am just on a mission to preach God’s worlds all over. Am actually about to start building my big church in Lilongwe, behind City Mall and construction starts in June,” said Bushiri.
Bushiri is also president for African Christian Coalition for Israel (AFRICCI) Ltd and is famed in Malawi for his ‘Go Deeper’ signature and currently being called ‘Major’ among his faithful followers.
The ‘Man of God’ came to limelight about four years ago when he rose from Mzuzu through his accurate prophecies and he has kept rising, amassing worthy and he is now considered one of the most influential young people in Malawi and the African region.
