Prophet Mbewe ‘prophesy’ Vice President convoy accident

Prophet David Mbewe who is Founder of his church Living Word Evangelist Church under Shalom Mount Valley Ministries has ‘prophesied’ on a possible accident for the convoy of ‘ a Vice President of a country which starts with MA’.

One of his worshippers said in an interview that the ‘Man of God’ did not mention by name the Vice President but only referred to as ‘Vice President of a certain African country with starts with letters MA.

One of frequent politicians who worship at the Pentecostal church is DPP Southern Region strongman Charles Mchacha.

“The Prophet did not mention when this accident of the convoy is going to take place. But many people were confused why the prophet was talking of an accident of a far away country which starts with the letters MA when we are in a country which also starts with MA. I think he should have just been open about it and say so that the people involved should be praying against this happening,” said the source.

Another source who also attended the session where this prophesy was pronounced also collaborated the story and also said it was a confusing ‘prophesy’.

“Indeed that prophesy was said by Prophet Mbewe but most people were confused that he did not say it outright whether the country is Malawi, Mali or Madagascar, this is what confused a lot of people,” he said.

Mbewe also urged  Malawiansto intensify prayers for the country’s security.

  1. F0r God’s sake,these people are not Prophets, they are thieves and lions in sheeps’ skins.If this guy was a Prophet,how could he fail to foretell the predicament that awaiting the VP? In Malawi whom should we trust? The President himself is a thief,his Ministers are thieves and the MPs are a bunch of idiots.OH! LORD,DELIVER US FROM THESE SATANS!!!!!

  3. So how will one pray for a country which he/she doesn’t know? Praying in vacuum? Isaiah, Jeremiah, Samuel etc, the bible prophets we know never beat about the bush when revealing a prophecy to people. I am baffled why today’s prophets are so afraid to tell us specifics of their so called prophecies. Are they even not sure of their own prophecies? Are they afraid of being found out?

  15. Why should people waste time commenting on this? First the writer of this story should convince us that this man is a prophet of God. He should tell us who gave him the prophethood. He comes out with stories which he would have given us even if he named himself a magician. In the first place the guy is not a prophet because there is no evidence that he is a prophet. A prophet is known to the people he is sent and God proclaims to the people that indeed he is sent by Him. A prophet can not be confined to a certain group of people. It has never happen even in ISRAEL. A prophet belongs to nation at least not just an organization. How many prophets do we have in Malawi? for what?

  19. Why hidding the details of the prophecy? Why not mention the country involved? and why not give a time frame,,, should we be waiting eternally for the prophecy to come to pass? God doesnt speak like this,, read the scriptures!

Its the same as telling me that one day I will die. This is a common fact whether you like it or not I will die because I cannot live forever. This is how people are fooled by the so called men of God
