Prophetess Thembi ‘thankful to God’ as Gosoho church celebrates 15th anniversary
The God Son and the Holy Spirit (GOSOHO) International Ministry, a Pentecostal church on Sunday celebrated 15 years of its existence with a call to Christians to remain faithful to God.
The ceremony which was held under the theme: “We have nothing to fear for the future unless we forget the way the Lord has led us in the past’ attracted hundreds of people including the church members.”
In her speech, the founder of the church Prophetess Thembi said the church is thankful to God for the mercies, prophesies, love and protection among others which have taken the church to an extra mile.
According to the founder, through the church’ teachings, a number of people from diverse sections of the society have received blessings, healings, deliverance and salvation to attain life eternity
“We have experienced a lot from God through his miraculous healings, counseling and deliverance. As we move forward, we have nothing to fear because God’s favour is upon us and the future is bright only if we remain faithful to him,” she said.
Apart from proclaiming the word of God, GOSOHO has also engaged in various activities including the establishment of Theological College and orphanages to promote spiritual and physical growth.
Earlier the day, the church organized a big walk to mark commemoration of the anniversary which started from Thursday to Sunday at the Church Headquarters in Kanjedza, Blantyre.
Established in 2002 in Kanjedza, the church has 18 branches in and outside Malawi.
