Purple C cuts debut album ‘XO’

A 19 year old, award winning Reggae Dancehall artist, Purple C cuts his debut album XO. Meaning Extraordinary.

This is a follow up to his famous ‘Random intentions’ mixtape which was released last year and had hit songs like ‘Hot like a sun’, ‘Not at all’ and ‘Heart’.

The compilation in XO is 15 songs strong, composed by PurpleC and produced by his label, Abstract Records.

The theme of the album is mainly centered on uplifting and love.

It also has a few bonus songs including the recently released ‘The good life’ which is a party song.

XO target is Local and international markets, the youth as well as elderly people.

The brand new album has songs like “Turn me over’, Malawi , Take time’ featuring Theo Thomson among others.

Purple C revealed that he is so excited that the project Is finally complete “We have been working on this album since last year, and iam now excited that we are finally releasing it” he said.

The young award winning star revealed that the album will be followed up by videos that have been worked on already “very soon we will announce dates of the videos we have worked on we selected songs from the album to satisfy people that love my art’ he added.

The album features Malawi’s very own award winning RnB icon Theo Thompson and the fast rising vocalist and singer Tsar Leo.

Extraordinally album is selling at k5000 per CD and can be purchased at Overcomes shorp green colour studio in Blantyre.
