The match was called off minutes before the scheduled kick-off time of 2:30pm despite a few supporters paying money to watch.

“Based on the current situation of the field it was the right thing to call off the match. Instead the game has been  rescheduled to Mpira Stadium tomorrow Sunday from 2:30pm,”Sulom Official Tiya Somba Banda told Nyasa Times.

The bankers are on position five with 43 points, while Wizards occupies position 13 with 25 points.

Any victory for Wizards will at least give Coach Peter Mponda confidence of escaping relegation.

Kamuzu Barracks are on the summit table with 49 points, but they can be displaced on Sunday if Blue Eagles will beat Azam Tigers at Nankhaka ground.
