Rise to your place Woman of God

As we celebrate our mothers, I would like to remind all the mothers about the role they have in the Kingdom of God. Throughout Lord’s ministry, it was the women who tended to His physical needs. They supported Him financially during His earthly ministry and these women were indispensable (Luke 8:1-3).

All this did not happen to show us that women were providing for His family, but it was to show us the special ministry that has been given to women which he Himself saw fit that only women would be able to do.

Jesus Christ first revealed Himself to a woman, who was before married to many men, and yet the man that she was living with was not hers yet the Bible tells us that when this woman went and told many about Jesus Christ, and many believed her words and followed Jesus Christ. I believe it is the ability to tell and have others believe that made Jesus Christ reveal Himself to a woman. Many were ushered into the Kingdom of God through what this woman told them. If you go through the questions that this woman had for Jesus Christ you will be able to see that there was a hunger to know more about God but she just did not have that opportunity to know. Many women at this point would miss this opportunity as they would start asking Jesus Christ irrelevant questions yet that did not look important to this woman.

Know your place woman of God and bring good news to the people, bring hope to the hopeless, bring healing to those that are hurting and above all, let many be ushered into the Kingdom of God.

Despite all the good things that we do for our families just like the early women did, let us be women that help build the body of Christ and families, not be the ones that bring divisions. Our role is to usher more in the Kingdom. We are fellow heirs in the Kingdom of God. Rise to your place woman of God. Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers!
