Robbers kill teenager in Blantyre

As the issue of security lapse continue to worry citizens and potential investors in Malawi, robbers stabbed dead a teenager, in Chigumula Township in the commercial city of Blantyre, Police have confirmed.

The body of the boy was found lying helpless in pool of blood in the morning hours of Saturday.

The 17-year-old victim identified as Harrison Mukhova junior was on his way to his home from
friends in Chemboma village in the same location when the robbers stabbed  him.

According to police public relations officer for the south, Superintendent Nicolas Gondwa, police has intensified the hunt of the suspects.

He said medical report has indicated that the boy died due to the loss of blood as he was stabbed in stomach and in his hands by the thugs.
