Thindwa determined to prove his credentials

TNM Super League golden boot award contender, Ishmael Thindwa, is confident that he will be this year’s top goal scorer  and could still  do it again  next season, saying his powers  will not be on the wane soon.

The Epac FC prolific striker told Nyasa Timeshe wants to prove critics wrong that Malawian players are all rated at average.

Thindwa, who is having a successive debut season in the top flight league, has seen his hardworking sprit earn him a call up in Malawi national team.

“At the moment, I just want score to bang in more goals for my team, to help it push up the table.

“But  If I might win this year’s golden boot at the end of season and miss out on it next season, I would still fight to appear in top 3.I have all the courage to work hard so that I can win it again next season,”said the towering Thindwa.

He was also nominated in Zodiak Radio’s fans choice ‘player of the year’ but lost out to Blue Eagle’s talented midfielder, John Banda.

The striker has already bagged 18 goals in 26 appearances for Epac United this season alone.
