Tigresses are being chased by Diamonds as the two Blantyre giants are separated with baskets.

Coach, Peace Kaluwa feels she has the formula to clip Diamonds and has vowed to collect maximum points come Saturday.

“We have to beat Diamonds if our ambition to be crowned champions is to be realized. But l can assure all our supporters that we will throw everything into the game so that at the end ‘tikamwe tea wamkaka,” said Kaluwa.

Kaluwa is beaming with confidence knowing she has a star studded squad which comprises slippery goal shooter, Sindi ‘Sniper’ Simutowe, Beatrice Mpinganjira and Grace Mhango.

In the other camp, Diamonds coach, Griffin Saenda said they are ready to shine bright against the Kanjedza Township based girls.

“The morale in our camp is high ahead of this crunch encounter. By any means, we have to beat Tigresses if we want to win the title,” he said.

Saenda has enough weapons in Jessica Sanudi, Alinafe Kamwala, Towera Vinkhumbo and the most expensive netballer in Malawi, Anabel Phiri to gun down Tigresses.

However, Diamonds will miss the services of their captain Caroline Ngwira who is expectant.
