TNM gives out Toyota Hilux to Chirimba resident, 2 still up for grabs in ‘Kwatentha’ promo

One lucky TNM customer Linda Ngulube has emerged winner of the first brand new Toyota Hilux valued at K19.8 million during the second monthly draw of TNM Plc’s “Kwatentha” Summer Splash promotion.

Ngulube, a Chirimba (Blantyre) Resident, at first could not believe her luck when TNM contacted her to break the news of her prize.  She insisted that media practitioners present at the draw address her in order to verify that the prize was indeed legitimate.

When TNM reached her  again Ngulube  said she would jump for joy once she saw the vehicle.

Ngulube is currently unemployed and said the Toyota Hilux would have a positive impact on her Christmas season as well as her life in general.

Addressing the media during the draw at Sunbird Mount Soche in Blantyre, TNM Chief Officer (Consumer Services) Daniel Makata said the company is committed to economically empower Malawians through life-changing prizes such as the Toyota Hilux pick-up

“We wish to assure customers that as a Malawian company, we are firmly rooted in the belief of giving back to the people through promotions such as Kwatentha. By simply topping up with K200 or more, customers stand a chance to win a Toyota Hilux vehicle that will transform their life for the better,” he said.

Makata said TNM Plc is proud to be associated with applying mobile telecoms technology and ICT as a catalyst to improving the lives of Malawian Citizens.

“A pick-up is a utility vehicle that comes in handy for an array of meaningful ventures. With consolation prizes such as smart phones and power banks, we hope to provide our customers with unlimited connectivity this festive season,” he said.

During the second draw, TNM dished out fortnightly prizes ranging from Huawei Y3 Lite smart phones, power banks, branded t-shirts and caps to over 200 lucky customers.

Launched on November 9, Kwatentha, promotion aims to reward both new and existing customers for switching to TNM and staying on Malawi’s own mobile and ICT network.

To qualify for fortnight and monthly draws customers need to top up with a minimum of K200 or more and stay active on the network

The promotion runs from November 9th 2017 to 9th February 2018.

Chirimba Chirimba Woyee! I was living in Chirimba in 2009-2010. I was enjoying Thirsty’s and New Grand. I hope those places are still around. To my sister with a new Hilux – remember me when I’m crying for a lift!

what about those who purchase airtime on other platform like the mo626 and the like ?? do they qualify ??

It appears that those who enter the competition are those using scratch cards. Those who top up electronically are sidelined. The few times I top up with scratch cards I get texts from TNM to the effect that I have been drawn into the competition. This does not happen when I recharge electronically, or am I wrong?
