TNM’s Mpamba goes nationwide through Kulima Gold outlets

TNM has completed an agency partnership deal that will see the company’s mobile money service, Mpamba become more and more easily accessible nationwide through Kulima Gold chain of stores.

Head of Mobile Money Division at TNM, Webster Mbekeani confirmed the deal saying it is in response to increasing public demands for Mpamba services across the country.

“The new partnership with Kulima Gold provides an expanded platform for accessing Mpamba services through Rab’s 68 dedicated Kulima Gold depots throughout the country,” he said.

Mbekeani said partnership has become effective with immediate effect.

He said it would enable potential and existing users of Mpamba to transact at any Kulima Gold outlet in addition to processing new registrations.

“New customers will be registered at these depots and all other transactional services related to Mpamba such as cash deposits and withdraws will be handled,” he said.

The Mobile Money head said TNM’s Mpamba has proved to be reliable and trusted resulting in the service becoming the preferred means of transferring money, airtime top up as well as paying utility bills.

In January, TNM unveiled a partnership with Multichoice Malawi that allows customers of GOtv to pay their monthly subscription through Mpamba. The bill payment service is also available for Escom pre-paid and post-paid and all the Water Board billing platform.
