Uladi Mussa meets Chakwera attends Eid ul fitr prayers outside jail following presidential pardon

Former cabinet minister Uladi Mussa met President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera on Saturday during Eid ul fitr prayers in Lilongwe just two weeks after his release from prison following President Dr Chakwera’s pardon.
This was the first time for Mussa to commemorate Eid ul fitr outside prison in two years after his release from the prison following his conviction in 2021.
Mussa shook hands with Chakwera and had an opportunity to have a picture taken while standing side by side with Chakwera alongside Sheikh Jaafar Kawinga of Qadria Muslim Association of Malawi.
Sheikh Kawinga hailed President Lazarus Chakwera for delivering on some of his promises.
Sheikh Kawinga said despite the challenges facing the nation, Chakwera has managed to deliver some developments such as roads and construction of security officers’ houses.
According to Kawinga, the President has also managed to handle the cyclone Freddy disaster.
In his words, Chakwera was chosen by the Almighty and he is the leader at the moment for a reason.
