Umodzi Party to contest in 2014 Malawi tripartite polls

The newly registered political grouping, Umodzi Party says it will contest in  the forthcoming tripartite elections slated for May next year nd confident of doing well  because of the party’s “sound policies and a manifesto which is unique and way above any of the ‘so-called major political  parties.”

The party’s interim President Professor John Chisi says once into power his government will build more secondary schools across the country as well as vocational schools that will help end the unemployment problem facing the country.

“Wherever there is a primary school we shall build a secondary school. All the existing secondary schools will be amalgamated to address the socioeconomic needs by becoming training colleges. University selection will only come from the training colleges”, he says.
