The Nomads have now 41 points from 17 games. There is 3 points gap with the second team Silver Strikers, who drew 1-1 against Silver Strikers.

However, the Nomads had to wait for second half to kiss the back of Blantyre United net through veteran Esau Black Mamba.

Kanyenda, who also scored in their 1-0 win against Kamuzu Barracks headed a Joseph Kamwendo’s corner kick.

A few minutes later,Harry Nyirenda scored the second goal from a well curved Kamwendo’s free kick.

The Nomads could have scored more goals but lack of composure inside the box especially from Precious Msosa and Khumbo Ng’ambi coasted them.

Blantyre United front line, which was led by Victor Nyirenda could not penetrate the backline of Kondwani Lufeyo and Harry Nyirenda.

Despite introducing fresh legs of Sparrow Msowoya and Brown Mizeyi,Blantyre United players run out of fuel in their tanks no wonder they panicked towards the end of the game.

Abraham Kamwendo tried all his tricks to supply crosses, but Francis Mulimbika closed him well as on several occasion did not give him any space to manouver.

The Nomads also introduced fresh legs. For instance the introduction of Felix Zulu and Rafiq Mussa tamed well Blantyre United.

After the last whistle,Be Forward Wanderers coach Yasin Osman praised his charges saying despite facing injuries his squad proved that any player can do the job.

The Nomads missed the services of key players like Yamikani Chester,Isaac Kaliat,Lucky Malata,Amos Bello,Peter Wadabwa and Jaffali Chande due to injuries while Stanely Sanudi was serving yellow cards
