Surestream FC technical director, Peter Mponda, has said his team is ready to face resurgent Mighty Wanderers in the TNM Super League on Saturday and expect to give them a run fo their money.
Mponda admitted that they were facing a daunting task as rookies in the flagship league after two consecutive loses in their first two fixtures..
“We certainly respect Wanderers but we are not afraid of them,” Mponda said.
“ We are still rectifying mistakes which we have noted. As I said earlier, the first five games would be tough, but we will certainly catch-up with the high demands of the league,” he said.
Surestream lost 4-2 to Blue Eagles in their opening fixture and they also lost 1-3 to Super League champions Big Bullets.
Meanwhile, Wanderers are expected to hand Cameroonian striker Lionel Assu a debut after Football Association of Malawi (Fam) transfer manager, Casper Jangale, said they had contacted Thailand Football Federation and it was likely that Asu would be issued International Transfer Certificate ahead of the Surestream match.Follow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
