To some the name X-tee may sound unfamiliar, but listening to the song titled ‘can’t do it alone’ which is set to be released on September 11, one can immediately spot the hidden talent in the artist.
X-tee, real name Timothy Yamikani Chambavi Munthali, confimed that, all is set for the track to be released and it will be added into his upcoming Extended Play (EP).
“I am ready to give my fans a test of their own artist before I drop theEP, after it has been a while since I gave them music” said X-tee.
According to the artist, the new song is emphasizing on the importance of God in everyone’s life and the importance of involving God in everyday situations.
“God is always there in our ups and down hence the need to praise him every day for his guidance and mercy.
Let the light of God shine upon us and his love direct us to everything we do each and every day” he said.
However, X-tee said even though he is well known as secular artist, he also has the responsibility to preach the word of God to the nation.
“It is true that I am a secular artist, but I am a Christian and it is my duty to teach the word of God, entertain and motivate through my music” he said
X-tee further said that the song is in dancehall genre and that is why he featured Kay Stevoh, a dancehall artist.
“Kay is a young and talented dancehall artist. I was confident that our combination will come out with a perfect song and it worked” he said.
With motivation from international artist namely Chris Martin, Konshens, Jahmeil and local artist like Ka Sir Blanca and Java, X-tee ventured into music industry in 2012.
He released single tracks like; Real love, when am with you which he featured Wakisa James and Dis lovefeaturing Loy View.
