Every body seem to have his strong and weak side as well. Mwayi has been commended by people who know him that he has hands on skills as a medical person. But the other side is that sometimes he is accommodating only to those he knows well. Otherwise, if you greet him, he will pretend that he has not heard.
In general, most so called Malawian doctors like positions, money, pride, laziness, only thinking of themselves, selling ambulances like in CP, KA and Mzimba north. I only give credit to specialists because they really demonstrate that they work and like their job. Most Medical officers from COM in Blantyre dont know even to do a simple caesarean section. They just talk from a distance and time goes on.

Mwayi is said to be intelligent just as he was at school. Only that one needs wisdom and interpersonal relationships to work with people. To some he is good, to others he is questionable. You can greet him, but if he doesnt want he will pretend not to have heard. Especially if he doesnt know you. The good side of him is that he works sometimes unlike the majority of Malawian so called doctors who cannot even conduct a caesarean section. Just good at talking and pretending they know everything. In Malawi, it is a few including specialists who really work and like their job. The rest just want positions, meetings, money, selling ambulances like in Chitipa, Karonga and Mzimba north, pride, womanizing to both married and unmarried women etc.

Good that companies do maker donations. I am just wondering the criteria they use to dobate to facility A or B. For goodness sake, I would not spend time donating to a facility that is headed by a brainless Mwayi Mwale. This under 40 guys who most often does not understand that he is heading a district that has a seat of government and capital city. May be that’s why those who are above 70 the likes of APM can’t entrust leadership of the nation to this group. Just take a soul searching and see if Lilongwe makes a mark as a district that has a City
