Roads Administration boss Hennox Mazengera laid to rest
The remains of late Hennox Mazengera, who until his demise was the Chief executive officer of the Roads Fund Administration (RFA), were laid to rest on Tuesday in Lilongwe.
Late Mazengera died at Mwaiwanthu Private Hospital in Blantyre on Sunday, August 11, 2013.
Burial took place Tuesday afternoon at Mwase village, Traditional Kalumbu, towards Double Vision Private Secondary about 10 kilometers close to Kalumbu Court in Lilongwe
Before joining the RFA, Mazengera worked for several different institutions in the country including the Society of Accountants in Malawi (Socam) where he was also the Executive Director.
He joined the RFA in December 2007 to lead a team of professionals in raising, administering and accounting for funds for the construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of public roads in Malawi.
He also serving as the first vice President, Africa Road Maintenance Funds Association (ARMFA) from 2009 until his demise and served as Council Member, Eastern, Central and Southern African Federation of Accountants (ECSAFA) from 1998 through to 2007.
Late Mazengera had Bachelors of Commerce degree with Distinction and a Diploma in Business Studies with Distinction, both from the University of Malawi.
