Luchenza Police Officer In-charge Assistant Superintendent Isaiah Mlowoka said suspects Lex Kaitano and Never Rodrick offered Taliana the bones at K1 million last Friday.

“When Kaitano asked them where the bones were the two asked him to provide them with K2000 transport to collect bones of which he did.”

“Then Kaitano tipped the police who make themselves available as the two were coming back with the bones” said Mlowoka.

The two were arrested immediately for possessing human bones which contravenes section 16 of the Anatomy Act.

After interrogations, the suspects revealed that they got the bones from a Mozambican man in Milanje district. They will appear in court on Monday.

Lex Kaitano, 25 and Never Rodrick, 30, hails from Majawa village Traditional Authority Chindime in Milanje, Mozambique.-Mana

  6. Last time a group of human bones sellers from Mozambique were given a bell of k20,000.00. This indicates that its not a serious offence. Can we revisit our laws. Shitiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Nyasaland laws.

  7. Nosenu mukupanga blame the ‘buyer’ i think you are missing the point. How can a seller sell his goods to all Malawians at one goal. The buyer was right to report to police about this unacceptable business.

  8. These two guys should be given a stiffer punishment for possessing human bones and attempting to sell them. Why? how can they feel if they were told that your fathers bones were on the Market for sell. How can they feel?

And secondly, the Buyer knows something. Among all the Traders at Luchenza, why did the Boys offer him the human bone for sale. He knows knows something. Afufuzidwe naye.
