Admarc employees hold board chair hostage over pay cheque delays

Irate Admarc employees this morning on Thursday held hostage the state controlled grain company’s board chairperson Alexander Kusamba Dzonzi over delays to get their January pay cheques.
Kusamba Dzonzi was released after he assured the angry staff that they would start getting their January salaried on Friday.
Management told the employees on pay day, January 25, that the salaries would delay due to cashflow problems.
The employees said their last pay was on December 20.
Admarc is one of state companies constantly seeking bail out from government.
