Airtel Malawi golf Goes to Zomba

Golfers in the old Capital City Zomba will this weekend be treated to a day long tournament championship powered by Airtel Malawi Broadband at Gymkhana club.

Airtel Malawi’s Corporate Sales Manager, Nchane Nkhwazi said the tournament was a token expressing a gesture of thanks for golfers’ passion of the brand Airtel.

“Airtel is back in full force in the world of golf and as promised, we are keeping our word to grow our partnership with the sport of golf.

“Airtel believes that our diversity in the sponsorship of various sports disciplines provides an opportunity to interact with our subscribers at different levels thereby building the brand muscle,” he explained.

Golf bags, state of the art handsets, airtime and various give aways courtesy of Airtel await outstanding golfers of this tournament.

According to Nkhwazi, Airtel was posed to bringing more modern customer centred products and services that were not only innovative but also affordable.

“Yes, we are here to provide solutions and make your professional, social, economic and personal lifestyle better in this digital era,” he said citing the roll out of 4G LTE trials in Blantyre and Lilongwe.

So far, 65 golfers have registered have registered to participate in the Airtel Broadband golf tournament which tees off at 8am . This becomes the third golf tournament for Airtel to sponsor within a space of two months. The previous tournaments were at Nchalo and Limbe Country club.
