According to Barry One, “Zopanda pake” is paving way for what is yet to come.

“I’m in the studio recording several songs and definitely a new album it’s on the way to be precise. I have worked on a few collabos with my Blantyre team, Bossaros Music Group, Hyphen, GD, Bucci, Piksy just to mention a few. I am yet to release one of the joints pretty soon,” He revealed.

Commenting on the new song “Zopanda pake”, Barry One said it was inspired from the drama people get to see on daily basis, the stunts people do to attract attention.

“The things that get to affect us daily, the perceptions people have toward life. The song is basically addressing the issues based on the bible. People go to church every Saturday or Sunday, mid prayer sessions, night of prayers, conventions, bible study etc.

“But the reasons for praying are different due to understanding the Bible, some are not faithful at all, some want to get blessings, some actually want to be saved. So the song addresses all that in general,” Barry One explained.

He added that the aim of the song is also to raise the flag high and Hip Hop to reclaim its roots, saying it is strictly about bars.

“I am not compromising on content. Since day one, I have always valued content and I make sure that people should relate regardless,” he emphasized.

Barry One albums are 2006’s Tionana, 2010’s Legendary, 2014’s Footprints and Maso Atseguka which was released in 2016.
