It will be proper for government to cop in opposition members into the committee because no one has monopoly of knowledge and so that when decision are made people should not suspect that they are being made because of politics but for the good of our country. This issue looks simple because it has not hit us hard as it has done in Europe but when things begin to happen at the scale it is happening in Europe, all fingers will point at the president and by including the opposition whatever comes will be a collective responsibility.

With that kind of handling of the pandemic, we will not be surprised if millions of Malawians perish. It is a matter of time. Mark my words. Don’t say we were not warned. I cry for my country led by ignorant people ochenjera aliipo.

THE APOSTLE OF THE TRUTH

Jappie Muhango, Bottoman, Dausi, Jerusalem PHD. These guys don’t have the capacity to handle Covid-19 please. Leave the work to Healthy Experts like what South Africa is doing.

Here in SA, they have a Covid-19 Management Center working with all hospitals in SA to collaborate efforts and Information communication is handled from there and passed on to Ministers and in turn to the President.

But what we are seeing in Malawi is a total disaster. Many people will die because of these ignorant politicians. Fuck them

Can’t agree with you more. There is no way the esteemed ministers can criticise each other. The better arrangement should have been a high level grouping of technocrats with knowledge of the subject matter which would report to a select ministerial committee.

These ministers are after nothing but fat allowances.

We are doing well when the disease has just entered the country? Terrible reasoning honestly, this disease will fight back, give it 4 weeks, you will never like this country, it will spread like fire, u can’t leave this issues to jappie, Ralph Jooma, Dausi Been Phiri, these guys lack policy direction, it just shows how incompetent Mutharika is on very serious matters, policies like self quarantine reflects that we have comedians at the helm of serious issues

Doing well in what way? You must be a walking dead person right? Let me just open your eyes, in Botswana they have just released the people who were on quarantine period and they are all negative. So what is that you mean by saying remaining the lowest? You should say this statement if the 13 is going to be dropping down which I believe it will be not like that my friend! Wait for a week also, you will be surprised! After it hit a a hundred. And are you aware that we are losing? How many have died… Read more »

I dont blame Dr Nyaka for his resgnation though at this crucial point, its bcoz may be of such peoples thick ,small heads, dunderheads poor decision making. such people think its a joke, the way so many people are dying frm this virus. at the end they will leave to regret their greedinees, for… Read more »

To prevent further spread to other parts of the country is it not possible to lock down Blantyre and Lilongwe. There should be no movement of people out of or into the two cities.
