Creck’s relegation fears grow after six-game winless run
Creck Sporting Club’s battle against relegation shows no signs of easing, after the struggling side extended their miserable winless run to six matches in a row without a single victory to their name.

The club’s only success all season came back in June, a solitary 3-1 win over Masters FC — a result that now feels a distant memory as Creck continue to toil at the wrong end of the FDH Bank Premiership table.
The latest setback came on Sunday, when Creck were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw against Goshen City Dedza Dynamos at Dedza Stadium, leaving their survival hopes hanging by a thread.
Creck now sit rooted to the bottom of the log, having managed just six points from 13 matches — a desperately thin return that leaves them staring relegation firmly in the face.
At the opposite end of the table, Silver Strikers FC continue to fly high at the summit with 28 points, while Mighty Wanderers edge out FCB Nyasa Big Bullets on goal difference, with both sides level on 26 points from the same number of games.
With survival now hanging in the balance, Creck will be desperate to end their barren run when they return to home soil to face ninth-placed Ekhaya FC in their next fixture — a match that could prove pivotal in their fight to stay in Malawi’s top flight.
