DPP’s Wa Jeffrey says Mutharika is the leader Malawi wants beyond 2019
The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPPSecretary General, Grezelder Jeffrey wa Jeffrey has challenged Malawians to vote for President Peter Mutharika in the forthcoming watershed election for continuation of development in the country.

Jeffrey made the remarks on Monday during the commissioning of the new Kamuzu Barrage at Liwonde in Machinga.
“Mutharika is the only leader who has fulfilled all the promises on development as stipulated in the Democratic Progressive Party 20l4 Manifestos,” said Jeffrey.
She cited construction of State-of-the-Art-bridges, good tarmac roads, provision of electricity in rural areas and reduction of power outages among others.
“We had power challenges which affected businesses but today, we have power all the time. Young men and women are acquiring vocational skills in our community technical colleges. In addition, there are well connected tarmac road networks easing transportation of goods and services from one point to another.
“This is the leader that Malawi wants and I urge everyone to vote for Peter Mutharika on May 2l tripartite elections for continuation of such developments at all levels,” said Jeffrey.
In his remarks, President Peter Mutharika said he would remain a development oriented leader not a politician saying every Malawian deserves development for a better life.
“l will continue initiating different developmental programs and policies in this country. In five more years, every village will be connected to electricity; community colleges will be in every constituency and more young men as well as women will have jobs,” said Mutharika.
In the presidential race, Mutharika will face eight challengers including Vice President Saulos Chilima, his Minister of Health Atupele Muluzi, opposition leader Lazarus Chakwera and former president Joyce Banda.
Others are former vice president Cassim Chilumba, new entrant in presidential polls Peter Kuwani of Mbakuwaku Movement of Democrcay (MMD), John Chizi of Umodzi Party and independent candidate Rev Kaliya.
I wish our leaders were serious.
There is the issue of the killing of our brothers and sisters for which they are doing nothing tangible. All of them.
No long term fix for electricity. Their best fix was a generator. ESCOM has been looted. Parliament should explain this as they get reports from ESCOM every year, yet ESCOM is in a very bad state. Do they have the capacity/ability to review and assist in the oversight of these parastatals. Seriously, the ESCOM saga has happened under the oversight of the Public Accounts Committee. Either you just meet for allowances, or you have no clue what you are supposed to do.
Ladies and Gentlemen running a country is serious business and you were given our mandate to competently run our country. We do not expect to educate you on the basics of adminisyration and stewardship.
BE SERIOUS, EVERY LIFE COUNTS.
Honestly none of the presidential aspirants has a clear-cut vision on how to take Malawi forward. Looking at their manifestos and campaign promises and also how small the Malawi economy is, it is better to just form a unity government and appoint all of these presidential aspirants into one cabinet. The question is: All of them combined, can they take Malawi forward? I don’t think so. You have the lame duck JB, the over ambitious bitter SKC, the desperate Dr Chakwera, the hot tempered cacooned Dr Chilumpha, the naive Atupele Muluzi, as well as the lethargic APM. Komatu abale Malawi is in trouble. Just call the British to recolonise Malawi, atibwezele dziko after zaka twenty. 20 May ndimasanje basi.
Mr. Delivery APM ndi boma kale.mufune musafune. Palibe wina ayi
Wa Jaffrey, shut your stinking-hole.Your hopeless master won’t go anywhere the May elections are his last days and he will pack his laggages back to the USA where he hid his stollen spoils.Wa-Jeffrey,Muthalika’s departure is your last days in the government you will have nobody to take care of you moron. What will make Malawians to vote for this moron who has destroyed our country beyond repairs? Are you aware of the fact that the leadership of Muthalika has resulted to push Malawi into to one of the last country economically in Southern Africa followed by Mugabe’s Zimbabwe.Crime is dangerously high, hospitals are going without medicines, roads are viciously dilapidated, unemployment is next to no one so,how would Malawians vote for this guile? Wa Jeffrey, you and Muthalika your days are numbered,Chilima is our next President like it or not.
Five more years of pain and mediocrity. Noooooo. Mwaba zambiri kadyeni before we come for you. Silly bastards taking malawians for granted. You will become irrelevant very soon. Fotseki zanu anthu osakonda dziko kanu. How can you let malawi sink to this level and you have the audacity to say that Mutharika is developing the country. Umphawi uli thoo mmidzimu and in towns. Mukamayendera ma galimoto a ma million muziti aliyense zikumuyendera? Anthu woyipa inu. A Galatiya mwataya chipangano chanu.
Electricity is all about rain and water levels, nothing to do with DPP. Malawians are not stupid wa Jeffrey, no wonder you wanted to steal k70 billion from taxpayers.
Don’t speak for Malawi. Malawi will speak for itself come May. No chamba fuelled opinions will change the facts when pepo vote. It is time to see what pepo think about all this colluption and theft
Its her job. What else can she say abale. Sikufunatu.
This guy at this old age to lead us where?
APM has failed just like Jose Mourinho both at Chelsea and Manchester United. He is facing the chop. Another failure like APM is Maurizio Sarri. APm is just pathetic.

Mwalephera osangonene bwanji.
APM has performed beyond expectation, considering the challenges he faced in government. Five more years would be in order. My vote is definitely APM’s.
Let me agree with you. He has managed the country without DBS from the donors. He has faced floods and hunger in 2 consecutive years but managed to excel the country through. He has fixed the broken economy mud with cashgate. Exchange rate is good and we are just stepping on forex. In the face of these, you and I can see roads and bridges, college infrastructures, office complexes, shopping malls, hotels Technical Community colleges, stadiums, secondary schools, hospitals, just to mention a few. If he faces no natural disasters, no cashgate and if he was operating with donor budget support, he could have been very very outstanding. He is indeed an administrator.
@ Phiri
Sort out the issue of heinous killings of peole with albinism otherwise you are wasting our time. Your presdident is so clueles. What Is complex about stopping the senseless killings of our brothers and sisters with albinism. There is nothing complex about it other than incompetence by your grandfather president.
Maloto a chumba
This is the joke of the day by Jefule
A mockery at its best
EVEN LUCIFER has supporters. So leave Jefule to exercise her freedom. We might waste our time arguing with fools.
Kodi anthu enanu mumakhala M`Malawi momwe muno? Chitukuko cake cili kuti? Mabulutu a Muthalika!
