Goodall tells people of Mzimba not to be carried away by opposition parties

Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Development, Goodall Gondwe, has urged people of Luviri in Mzimba to continue rallying behind Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) and vote for the same during the next year’s tripartite elections.

Goodall Gondwe urges people of Luviri in Mzimba to continue rallying behind DPP

Speaking Saturday when he addressed a political rally, Gondwe said government was committed to ensure that all communities across the country have access to social amenities for better living, hence the need for people to continue supporting the DPP-led government.

Gondwe, who is also DPP Vice President for the northern region, said government was doing everything to ensure provision of improved health facilities and services, road networks, school facilities, electricity and potable water.

He reminded people in the area of the projects government is implementing in the district and country as a whole to make sure that people have easy access to social services.

“You must, therefore, vote wisely during the next tripartite elections to avoid regretting. Elections come after every 5 years and if your get carried away by opposition political parties, it will be too late for you to correct things,” said Gondwe.

In his remarks, Group Village Head, Zawa Gumbo asked government to consider bringing electricity in the area, constructing classroom blocks and supplying desks at Luviri Primary School and those (schools) surrounding the area

  1. nobody from this DPP is wants to retire, Dada Gondwe there is life after you retire Dada iwe nyengo zakana , wantu wakuba ndalama mulipompo , just set good example retire you Gondwe , peter mutalika, dausi nikolasi, brown mpinganjira, and others mwakula Wa Dada, enafeso tilowemosomumenemo

  2. This is what we are complaining about. Dpp is filled with died man lik Gondwe, Peter, Ntaba, Mpinganjila and so on. Dpp must go its time for Chilima or chakwera.

  3. What type of development is this fossil talking about. He is talking of development in Mzimba, the chief is talking about lack of basic public needs. Adada awa viinjeru vayamba kuwachimbila, utesi ndiwo wawika panthazi. Pakuti iwo wakupwevula makola.

  4. G.Gondwe, sekulu mwamala nchito sono lekerani young stars ndalama ikumala chala kweni wamunthu ukumala.Gondwe I used to respect you and your late brother Vincent, but what you are doing now,is shameful and unacceptable. How would Muthalika use you as a cipher? Indeed, you are ashaming the Northerners who have suffered to a great length in the fight for the emancipation of not only for Northerners but also, the whole nation.Muthalika has lost trend on how to develop our dear Nyasaland/Malawi.Lately,Muthalika had told the people of Mangochi that he would construct Chipembere’s statue in Mangochi to reflect his dear contribution to the freedom struggle of our nation.Gondwe, ask yourself why now? Is it because of the coming elections so HE wants to bribe the people of Mangochi? What a cheap politics? Mind you,me and Muthalika had been followers of Chepembere in Dar es salaam,Tanzania when he was leading PAN-AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF MALAWI hereinafter,PDP.Mathanyula,CHIPEMBERE died some 20 years ago,why now? Chipembere was not the leader of Mangochi alone, but he was also the leader of Malawi as a whole and AFRICA.Realistically,if you want to construct CHIP’S statue why not in LILONGWE the Capital of our nation? Astonishingly, why not bringing Chipembere’s remains back into Malawi.Your brother Bingu brought back Kanyama Chiume’s remains from the USA.However,it was not his wish, then the national elections were closing in and Bingu wanted the votes from the North,it worked well for the opportunist and an ardent tribalist.Mr.Gondwe,it is unbelievable you have reached an extent of betraying your fellow Northerners for the sake of finances.Lastly, stop betraying your own people, you must be ashamed.
