When reporting these covid-19 cases could you please always include those who have recovered.

Just saying that Malawi has 39 covid-19 cases is inaccurate and also misleading because out of those 39 cases, 6 have been cured and are back to their normal life.

Please stop taking part in the scare mongering scheme being spearheaded by the DPP politburo…

Now you know why why APM had made the Covid 19 Committee all DPP, too partisan? It was to ensure figures being announced are not challenged as you have ably done.

Covid-May 2019 criminals

When counting the numbers please include those dying of the restrictions imposed especially on schools which run on the fees. Please also include deaths from other causes which out number Covid-19 pandemic. Even mzungu in US doesn’t want lockdown. It’s worse than death. In Africa we just copy things from Europe and America. Yes we have Covid-19 pandemic but look at those recovering. In China 93% have recovered. Mhango is silent about the 36 people still living. Fine 9 have recovered. What about the 27? What progress are they making?

So the bastards my busy destroying proposed quarantine centres because they want to be given allowances. Allowances are given to someone in the line of performing his or her duties not as hand outs. You are out of your duty station and you have to sleep in a hotel or rrsthaouse eat etc that is covered by allowances and its a right to those employed to perform such tasks. Its not stealing if you not entitled shauri yako

If the woman has no history of travelling and she was asymptotic how and why was she tested for coronavirus?

It seems to me that the DPP government is taking pleasure in falsifying the number of those testing positive for several reasons…
First to scare Malawians especially in the opposition areas not to come out to vote in July.
Secondly, to intros lockdown in order to delay or stop the July elections.
Thirdly, to use it as a tool to persuade donors to give them money, obviously for self enrichment, coronagate.

Agreed entirely. Your observation is sobering.
Remember, one former senior citizen allegedly advised APM to take advantage of Covid 19 pandemic to scare Malawians following the DPP’s futile attempt to buy ID’s. The party is deriving alot of pleasure in the growing number of supposedly Covid 19 cases to try and justify deferring the fresh election.

Testing criteria at present seems to be: 1. History of travel outside Malawi,2. History of symptoms,3. contact with a corona virus positive person.
It makes sense to me; politics aside. When we get better capacity, we should test everyone who has symptoms regardless of travel history or contact history. And the sooner the better!
