Malawi national football team regroups on Tuesday in preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zimbabwe on June 13 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
The Flames will regroup after coming from the Confederation of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA) held in South Africa where they won the Silver Plate.
Coach Young Chimodzi said the team would be expected to leave on Friday for Egypt for a friendly game on June 8.
“We are going to camp on Tuesday and expect to leave on Friday for Egypt,” Chimodzi said.
He said all the players who made the Cosafa squad would be maintained.
“We are not going to drop any player from the Cosafa at this point in time because I was impressed with their performance,” he said.
