Sulumba close to a contract at Polokwane City
South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) outfitare still assessing Malawi international Muhammad Sulumba ahead of the new season.

According to Times Media Digita, the signs appear more promising for Nyasa Big Bullets burly forward Sulumba that he will be offered a contract‚ though nothing has been signed yet.
The 29-year-old had joined Jomo Cosmos last season but was not registered for the Premier Soccer League due to paperwork issues.
He fits the mould of a tall and powerful striker that Coach Luc Eymael is looking for to supplement the likes of Thobani Mncwango‚ Puleng Tlolane and Rodney Ramagalela.
The club’s owner Johnny Mogaladi and veteran forward Esau Kanyenda—who facilitated the move alongside Bullets former chairperson Samuel Chilunga—confirmed the deal is too close to sign.
Sulumba is a current Malawi international who played for his country in the June African Nations Cup qualifiers when they lost 3-0 to Zimbabwe.
He will join six other Malawians—Kanyenda (Polokwane), Limbikani Mzava (Golden Arrows), Robert Ng’ambi (Platinum Stars), Gerald Phiri Jnr, Frank ‘Gabadinho’ Mhango and Robin Ngalande (Bidvest Wits) and Atusaye Nyondo (Bloemfontein Celtic)—who play in the South African top league while Micium Mhone turns out for relegated National First Division (NFD) side Jomo Cosmos.
