Sulumba’s Polokwane deal at K20 million

Nyasa Big Bullets FC have finally sold their scintillating striker Muhammad Sulumba to South Africa’s Premier Soccer League side Polokwane City at R370,000 (K20 million).

Both clubs have confirmed of the deal separately.

Nyasa Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Fleetwood Haiya while confirming the deal indicated that they have already found a replacement.

“We have a replacement in place, we will unveil him soon,” said Haiya.

Polokwane City’s Publicist, Vusi Ntimane praised Bullets for the club’s professionalism during negotiations.

“They have been good in the whole deal, and we are now looking forward to Sulumba helping them team to score more goals. We have been following him for some time and we know he is a great striker,” said Ntimane.

Sulumba who has been training with Polokwane since December last year has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract. The 23-year-old joins the likes of Rodney Ramagalela and Rendani Ndou in the attack for Bernard Molekwa’s side.

Sulumba joins the likes of Atusaye Nyondo, Gabadinho Mhango, Robert Ng’ambi, Limbikani Mzava and Robin Ngalande on the list of Malawian players plying their trade in the Absa Premiership.

Meanwhile, the Nyasa Big Bullets have signed in new players in readiness of new season set to start in April.
