TNM invests K100 million in Kwatentha promotion

TNM Plc says it has invested over K100 million into its latest customer reward promotion, Kwatentha, in which three brand new Toyota Hilux utility vehicles and other prizes are up for grabs.

Kwatentha promo: Three brand new Toyota Hilux utility vehicles uo for grabs

Launching Kwatentha, Head of Prepaid Sales and Distribution Protazio Mthete said the promotion aims to reward both new and existing customers for switching to TNM and staying on Malawi’s own mobile and ICT network.

“We are investing over K100 million into Kwatentha to reward Prepaid customers for choosing TNM, and staying loyal to the network. TNM has in recent years experienced brand warmth as evidenced by the many people joining and staying on the network to enjoy both worlds of high-speed data and quality voice call services. Kwatentha is our humble gesture of gratitude for the support,” he said.

Mthete said to stand a chance of winning one of the 3 brand new Toyota Hilux pick-ups valued at K19.8 million each, customers need to top up with a minimum of K200 or more and stay active on the network.

Other prizes are Huawei smart phones, power banks and TNM branded goodies.

The Head of Prepaid Sales said Kwatentha promotion will run for three months from November 9th 2017 to 9th February 2018. There will be fortnightly draws culminating into three major monthly draws when a lucky customer would win a grand prize of the Hilux monthly.

“In coming up with the prizes, weighty consideration was put into what items could really transform our customers’ lives tremendously. You will agree with me that this being the farming and rainy season, a utility pick-up vehicle is very handy and will greatly add value to our customers. On the other hand, we are giving out Internet-enabled handsets to give customers a taste of our 4.5G network as well as power banks for charging their phones when necessity call for their use,” he said.

TNM is experiencing exponential growth, as it has become a preferred network of choice for customers looking for the fastest mobile internet through its 4.5G /LTE platform, expansive countrywide network and a wide range of affordable pricing plans for its products and services.

The TNM customer base grew by 7% in the first half of 2017 ending June.

Actually TNM hasn’t asked its customers to do something new or unusual. With or without the promotion people will still recharge. So Mr Staga, tnm would still make the money you have well calculated either way. And for your own information Mr Staga, by the year 2009 tnm was making MK20,000,000 (twenty million) per day in profit by airtime recharges from its prepaid customers and if that be maintained today then with or without the promotion tnm would still make a whooping MK1.8 billion in profit in the said three months but as we know as of to date, tnm… Read more »

TNM should also say what return are they expecting from customers, cause k200 x 500,000 people = MK100,000000 (ONE HUNDRED MILLION KWACHA) so Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb = 4moths so that means TNM will by then will make about K9billion! why fooling Malawians?

We always know this is what happens in all competitions not just the TNM one. The good thing is nobody is forced to enter the competition.
