Valentine singletons ‘Masquerade’ party in Lilongwe

In a bid to cater for singletons on Valentine’s Day, Macadamia Entertainment in partnership with N1 café & Grill has organized “Masquerade Singles Night” on 13th February 2016.

According to Macadamia Entertainment Co-founder and manager Alinane Njolomole, the event has specially been developed with single people in mind in order to give them a chance to find a “valentine” they can spend the following day with.

“The event is to take place on the eve of Valentine’s Day because as a team, Macadamia realized that most Valentine’s Day events are purely targeted at couples whilst there are a lot of single people out there too. Why not give them a chance to meet someone new during the season of love itself,” he explained.

Njolomole further pointed out that event has been themed as a masquerade ball where attendees will be given extravagant masks upon entry to maintain a romantic and free atmosphere.

“At the event, attendees can relax and be themselves while getting to know each other in an exciting environment. There will also be a professional photo-booth at the event and all in attendance are encouraged to dress in their most fashionable attire in order to make the night more memorable,” he said.

The Masquerade singles night also boasts a roster of VIP guests which will be kept a secret until Friday 12th February 2016 when it will be officially announced on newly rebranded radio station, Timveni radio.

“The official announcement will come through “The Friday Lounge”, a radio show on Timveni radio. If you listen to the show this Friday (12th February 2016), we will announce the VIP list and performers. Listeners will also have a chance to win VIP access to the event by entering a text competition which will be run during the show,” stated Alex “Dizzo” Kachepa, co-host of “The Friday Lounge”.

The event will also have a live DJ as well as N1 café’s signature braai stand and refreshments bar ready to serve the hungry and thirsty.

Located on the ground floor of the iconic Gemini house, N1 café is a local and international cuisine restaurant and bar in the heart of the capital city center area.

The Masquerade singles night starts at 8pm on the 13th February and attracts an entry fee of MK2000.00. Entry fee will also provide for a masquerade mask.

The “Masquerade singles night” is the first of many events to be hosted by Macadamia entertainment, a Lilongwe-based entertainment and events company specializing in urban events, talent promotion and entertainment marketing.

I agree with number 2 in that great care should be taken in order not to catch any sorts of transmittable diseases. Praising the Lord will be much more important on such a day.

Mark my words. This event will be infested with prostitutes, professional and non professional. For those who care about their physical and spiritual health, i urge them to stay clear of this event. You can’t meet anyone with positive energy there.
