Nyamilandu says Bullets wrangle turnishing the image of Malawi football
Football Association of Malawi President Walter Nyamilandu has said Bullets controversies regarding the CAF Champions League expenses are sad and embarrassing to the brand of football in the country.
Nyamilandu said such kind of controversies were would put off existing sponsors and scare off potential ones.
“It’s a very sad and embarrassing development. We are painting a very bad picture to the sponsors, It is like football is a war house hosue when it is supposed to be family entertainment,’ Nyamilandu said.
Nyamilandu cautioned Bullets from the beginning that they were making a risky adventure having no realistic means of getting funding for the competition.
He said Bullets should come up job description to separate the powers between the executive and supporters.
“Ownership of the club has to be sorted out. There has to be separation powers between the executive and supporters, otherwise whatever leadership comes will face similar problems,” said Nyamilandy.
But he also called for transparency and accountability at Bullets. In the heat of the in-fighting and disagreements FAM secretariat’s intervention led the birth of a task force.

Football in Malawi is failing because of administers of Nyamilandu caliber. since he took over the position of FAM President, what has he achieved? Is there anything that Nyamilandu can show as an achievement during his term of office apart from voting(god knows why) for Sepp Blatter?
