Tuff Gong International to distribute Blasto’s ‘Persistence’ EP

Jamaican label, Tuff Gong International, founded by legendary reggae icon Bob Marley will distribute Malawi’s reggae-dance hall don Blasto’s Persistence Extended Play (EP).

 The imprint has set September 15 as the release date worldwide.
Blasto has since confirmed the deal. In an interview, the Lilongwe based deejay said the deal has been facilitated by Gino XXL Entertainment.
Gino XXL entertainment from Amsterdam are the executive producers of the EP so they linked with Tuff Gong International.
Blasto becomes the first reggae dance hall deejay from Malawi to accomplish such a feat.
“We are reaching out to the market in the Caribbean with this deal and also the other reggae and dancehall market worldwide” said Blasto.
“All purchases will be through what Tuff Gong sets out there and they set the date to get the music available on the market”. He added.
The EP has seven tunes and an additional accapella bonus song on it.
Production credits go to award winning producer Black Falcon Bird who recorded, mixed and mastered the EP at his Exclusive studios.
Others include Lulu, Skilled Kwilasha on guitar, Chigo on backing vocals and Ziggy Blacks production on Mama Africa.
