Masters Security FC in financial crisis: Yet to pay players bonus

It is often said that action should speak louder than words as Masters Security Services FC players could testify.
Gangata: Cash crisis
Masters Security FC in cash crisis
When the team was promoted to Malawi’s flagship football TNM Super League the Managing Director of the security services firm Alfred Gangata touted that the team would offer lucrative package no current team can afford.
This attracted some of the established and big names including former Malawi national football team captain Joseph Kamwendo, Mozambique based professional goalkeeper Simplex Nthara and Robin Ngalande the only one who managed to sign a six-month contract which has since expired and has secured a move to South Africa.
But despite repeated assurances that the team would live up their word to offer the best for the players it has transpired that the team is yet to pay any game bonus to players since their debutant season started.
One of the players Sanzo Dalio confirmed on Wednesday that life for the players has become unbearable due to unpaid outstanding salaries.
“Life is hard for us as players  because we are being owed a lot of money in salary arrears,” he said.
“Some of us are surviving because of relations we have in town. When we ask for our money they keep on assuring us that it will be fine.”
The team’s general secretary Zachariah Nyirenda claimed that the players were exaggerating the situation but he admitted that the going is getting tough.
“It’s not true that we owe them a lot of outstanding money in salary because they normally get paid on the 15 th of every month,” Nyirenda say.
“What I can say is that we indeed haven’t received any game bonuses because for a win they are entitled to K30,000 and K15,000 for a draw which is not easy,” he said.
“We need a lot of money to settle their dues.”

Running a team in regional league and national league is very different.A Gangata mukapanda kusamala musauka, anthu adzidzangokumbuka dzina. This is what has forced Dean Josiah to sell EPAC super league status to Civil sporting in the name of merging. Now Mr Josiah is in politics as a survial tactic. We run our football as a social game, not commercial.Even the late John Zingale died(MHSRP) a very poor man because he invested his cash running Gola united,as a result he died very very poor.Watch out Gangata udzalilira ku utsi, matama onse aja adzakuthela.

I would want to believe its Gangata who blew his own trumpet, not Zacharia
